PP Plastic Tree Guard Description
PP Plastic Tree Guard is manufactured from rigid, durable corrugated PP plastic (corflute) with UV and oxidation stabilization, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use. It is also commonly known as a fluted plastic tree guard, corflute tree guard, rigid corflute vine guard, corrugated plastic tree guard, or tree shelter.
Designed specifically for the early stages of tree growth, the Square Tree Guard creates a physical barrier around young plants, helping protect them from browsing by herbivores and rodents. It can also help shield young trees from accidental exposure to chemical sprays, reducing the risk of damage during weed and vegetation management.
Beyond physical protection, the enclosed structure can create a favorable microclimate around young plants. By helping reduce moisture evaporation and directing growth toward the main stem and root system, tree guards can support healthier establishment. They also make it easier to manage weeds around young seedlings, which may otherwise compete for soil nutrients, moisture, and sunlight.
